  • Description of PowToon.
PowToon is an animation software. With PowToon, anyone can create engaging, animated videos with a professional look and feel. PowToon aim to bring a touch of awesomeness to everyday communications. Whether you're teaching a class, sending a note to a friend or pitching a product to potential investors, users can just PowToon it. 

PowToon is a video-making platform for creating engaging, animated videos and presentations with zero design skills or technical background. Users can choose from a range of over 100 presentation templates for different purposed and customize the templates with company branding, content and visuals.

This feature replaces the animation pane on PowerPoint and it is much easier to use. Each side can only be 20 seconds long and can make extremely simple video. There are 12 animation that users can choose.

PowToon's transitions are pretty fun to play with, especially the "hands" for entrance or exit effects. The transitions are very dynamic and contributes to the fact that all of their presentations are exciting to watch. Transitions are helpful in making a presentation flow so you can follow characters from one slide to the next. This results to make PowToon's more engaging.

Creating a slide which uses animation is as simple as placing objects on the screen, dragging the timeline to decide when they appear and disappear and picking an entrance and exit effect from a drop down menu. To begin using PowToon, users need to sign up for an account. 

1. Go to the PowToon homepage.

2. In the upper right corner of the screen, click SIGN UP


3. Sign up using one of the following options:

a. Your social media account on Google, Facebook or LinkedIn
b. Entering your details according to the fields on the page and then click SIGN ME UP

If users signed up using Facebook or entered details on the page, a verification email will be sent to complete the sign-up process.
4. And you are good to go!
