For Semester 2 students, we have to take EDU 455 which is Instructional Technology. The credit hour for this course is 2.00. This course introduces students to the various computer applications software such as word processing, desktop publishing, web pages development, spreadsheet use, telecommunications and their uses in all areas of educations. After finishing this syllabus, students are able to understand computers, how to use computer applications and how to access information on the World Wide Web as an integrated teaching and learning tool. It is important for future teachers to at least have basic understanding about computer. This is because, when we step into the career world in this globalization era, we basically will use computer for almost every task given.
